Real estate in Mexico
Selling your property in dollars? Get more pesos than at the bank.
If your house, condo or land sells in US dollars, we convert the proceeds to pesos at a rate very close to interbank (and pesos to dollars if you need it). We work with individuals and companies, fully documented before a notary, and also when your buyer wants to pay in crypto.
- Just 0.40% over the interbank rate; traditional banks usually charge 2% to 4%.
- Receive pesos in your Mexican account, or dollars in the US or Canada.
- We accept USDT, USDC, Bitcoin and Ether, and settle by documented bank transfer.

FAQ
What people ask before selling or buying
I sold my house in dollars. How many pesos will I receive?
The dollars from the sale (or the buyer’s USDT/USDC) are converted to pesos at 0.40% over the interbank rate and deposited in your Mexican account. We confirm the rate and the exact peso amount in writing before converting; the calculator gives you an idea with today’s rate.
Can I receive dollars in my US or Canadian bank account?
Yes. If you sold in pesos and prefer dollars, we convert them and wire them to your bank in the US, Canada or another country, with a receipt.
How is the operation documented before the notary?
Payment between buyer and seller is made by bank transfer, and we provide receipts for every movement so the notary can record the form of payment in the deed. We handle the exchange and the transfer of funds; the deed, appraisals and taxes are handled by the notary.
Can you really pay for a house in Mexico with crypto?
Yes, with the right process. The buyer sends us USDT, USDC, Bitcoin or Ether; we verify their identity and source of funds, convert at the agreed rate and pay by bank transfer. The seller receives money in their account and the operation is fully documented.
Do I need a company to work with Nuvex?
No. For real estate we work with Mexican and foreign individuals and with companies. We need a valid government ID, proof of address and the details of the operation.
How much do I save compared with a bank?
It depends on the amount and the bank. As a reference, with Nuvex you pay 0.40% over the interbank rate, while a traditional bank usually applies 2% to 4% plus international wire fees. On a 350,000 dollar sale, the difference can be around 140,000 pesos. Use the calculator for your case.
What about taxes on the sale?
Taxes on the sale, such as Mexican income tax (ISR), are calculated and paid by the notary. Nuvex does not provide tax advice; we recommend reviewing your case with your notary or accountant.
When is the exchange rate set?
We confirm the rate in writing before executing the conversion. If closing is a few days away, we coordinate the timing of the conversion with your notary.
